Judge O'Brien was first elected to serve as JP in 2018, and took office on January 1, 2019.
She earned her Graduate Certificate in Dispute Resolution/ Mediation from SMU and has over twenty years of experience as a small business owner. Judge O'Brien is an active community volunteer and supporter, and enjoys attending events with the Garland NAACP, Dallas Habitat for Humanity, Rowlett Crisis Assistance Program, and Cali Saigon Mall. She loves to call Dallas County home with her husband and two children.
